• Ms. erroneously foliated beginning on first flyleaf. Record follows erroneous foliation.
• Physical description: 23 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on tan unglazed, laid Arabic paper. Fol. 72-77 on smaller paper. Rubrication and catchwords; charts in red and black. Some marginal notes. Extensive water damage which has led to loss of lower inner corner. Edges ragged and numerous paper repairs, with some loss of text.
• Origin: Text 1 completed by Qāsim ibn ʻAlī Ismāʻīl on 14 Jumādá I 916 H [19 August 1510] (fol. 67b).
• Incipt (text 1, from first heading): مدلولات برج عقرب عقرب بر چىست ثابت بى آواز گم نکاح بىار فرزند درست اندام خانه مرىخ و فرح مرىخ و وبال زهره سبوط [؟] قمر در سىم درجه سه وجه دارد

Binding note

Limp brown leather with tooled geometric design and paper pastedowns; heavy water damage has resulted in loss of lower part of spine as well as about one-third of the back cover. Stored in folder which is a binding from another work.
