On fore edge: "Musammá bi-Ṭūr-i Sīná" in Arabic script.
Physical description: 16 lines per page; written in naskh in black on glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication; catchwords beginning on fol. 104b. First folio missing. Some smudging, particularly on first few folios. In excellent condition.
Origin: Copy completed by ʻAbd al-Karīm ibn Maʻṣūm al-Qazvīnī on 20 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1243 H [3 July 1828] (fol. 261b). According to the copy listed in the Markaz-i Iḥyāʼ-ʼi Mīrās̲-i Islāmī, the original text was completed in Rajab 1243 H [January-February 1828]; that copy was completed by the same copyist on 10 Shaʻbān 1243 H.
Incipit (as extant): رسول الله والعلامات الائمه و هداىت نجم بر ما زمره بنى نوع اين بود که در ىوم الغدىر فرمود من کنت مولاه فهذا على مولاه
Binding note
Full brown leather over pasted boards; blind-stamped central mandorla, pendants, and fillets. Green paper doublures.
