• Physical description: 19-22 lines per page; written in shikastah in black on machine-made paper. A few marginal notes. At the top of each page, the letters a m ʻ in Arabic script. In excellent condition.
• Origin: Text 3 dated 8 Shawwāl 1295 H [1878] (fol. 85b). According to note on fol. 1a, ms. is a holograph.

Binding note

Contemporary full orange leather with blind-tooled fillets; paper doublures.

• 2. fol. 69a: Mawʻiẓah-i sanah-i 1302. First page of a sermon for the year 1302 H [1884 or 5].
• 3. fol. 70a-85b: Risālah dar bayān-i mujarrad būdan-i rūḥ. Treatise on the soul, consisting of two muqaddimah, several faṣl, and a khātimah.

Provenance

On fol. 1a: At top of page, note dated 1321 which appears to be accompanied by the seal of Jaʻfar al-Ḥusaynī. In the middle of page, note dated 1339. At bottom of page, note dated 1333 by Muḥammad Bāqir al-Ḥusaynī; next to it is another seal of Jaʻfar al-Ḥusaynī.
