• Physical description: 21 lines per page; written in naskh in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Text framed in blue, red, and green. Rubrication and catchwords; Qurʼanic quotations vocalized and overlined in red. Illuminated ʻunwān on fol. 1b is smudged and almost entirely effaced. Mild staining and insect damage; occasional paper repairs. Text block is almost completed detached from binding and a few leaves are completely detached. First two leaves somewhat damaged but legible. Otherwise in good condition.

Binding note

Full black leather over pasted boards with gold fillets; maroon leather doublures with gold fillets. Spine repaired.
