Physical description: 17 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on beige and lavender glazed, laid Arabic paper. Text framed in blue and gold. Catchwords; headings in red. Fol. 1, 3 are replacements on 19th cent. European paper. Text begins on fol. 3b. Several missing leaves after fol. 7; fol. 2 is bound incorrectly and belongs after fol. 8. Marginal damp staining and light smudging; paper repairs to last two leaves resulting in some loss of text and part of the colophon.
Origin: Original text completed 4 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 877 H [2 May 1473]; this copy completed at the end of Muḥarram 1019 H [April 1610] (fol. 62a).
