[2r], "Archē syn theō hagiō, tēs thematographias, eis ta rēmata / ta syntassomena meta aitiatikēs kata tous palaious"; headpiece in two colors on the same folio; initials in red and black color. Scribal note above the headpiece reads: "αψπα Phevrouariou kē. Ekama archēn eis ta themata"; there are no signatures, foliation or pagination; first and last leaf blank; on fol. [1v] there is an anonymous owner's note: "tauta ta themata edothēsan moi, para tou kyr Gavriēl / tou ek Vourla tou en Smyrnē." Manuscipt is bound in limp vellum binding; soiled and worn.
