Summary note
Consists mainly of philosophical treatises and commentary on Aristotle. This is an 18th-century Greek manuscript on paper, written in Modern Greek. Cursive script in black ink; extensively annotated on the margins; title on page 1; ornamental headpieces on pages1, 135, 295, 356, and 430; diagrams on pp. 84, 114, 120, 160, 330-331, 337-341, 344-346, 386-386-387, 391-394, 400-403, 418-419, 425, 427 and 478. Scribal note on p. 491 reads: " Peponētai par' emoi Nikolaō tō kai Stygnē en Metsovō diatrivonti / kata to αψιον to apo theogonias, en Hē-/mera Tritē, dē phthinontos mēnos Poseidōnos. Memnēsthe de mou hoi anagignōskontes ..."; relevant note on fol. 10v: Maiou 30 en Mesovō ērxamēn tēs logikēs." Owner's inscription on pp. 1 and 491: "ek tōn tēs scholēs tēs Tzaritzanēs" and "kai tode pros tois allois Alexandrou didaskalou / tou ek Tyrnavou. Etei kath' ho ēgorastai α[..]ω logikē / tou Korydaleōs." Manuscript is bound in early 18th century black leather (heavily worn); sewn on six raised bands.
