Summary note
A commentary on the introduction to the first part of Niẓāmī Ganjavī's Iskandarnāmah; the author's sources include the commentaries by Naṣīr, ʻAbd al-Khāliq, Muḥyī al-Dīn (listed in Storey, Persian literature, V, 490, no. 2), and Hārūn Muttaqī (fol. 77b). A note by a later hand in pencil on fol. 78b attributes the text to one Nuʻmān Mullā, but this is not confirmed in the text. Text is preceded by a schematic diagram of the Kaʻbah on fol. 1a, and followed on fol. 77b-78a by a short commentary on the verse which begins "biyā bāghbān ..." from the Iskandarnāmah.
