• Physical description: 13 lines per page, in 2 columns; written in nastaʻliq in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Catchwords. Text framed in blue and gold; columns separated by gold lines. Some paper repairs, particularly to first five leaves; some staining and smudging. Incomplete at beginning, and several lacunae throughout first 15 leaves.
• Decoration: Four fine miniatures on fol. 5a, 73b, 98a, 214a.
• Origin: Copy completed on 11 Rabīʻ I 1094 H [10 March 1683] (fol. 266a); name of scribe is erased.

Binding note

Full black leather with flap on upper cover. Blind-stamped central mandorla and pendants painted gold, silver, and blue; blind-stamped corner designs on covers and flap painted gold, green, and red. Maroon leather doublures with gold fillets and blind-stamped central mandorla and pendants painted silver and gold.
