Physical description: 11 lines per page, in two columns; written in nastaʻliq in black on yellow machine-made paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Light staining and smudging; in excellent condition.
Decoration: On fol. 1a, illuminated ʻunwān with floral pattern in gold and colors; text framed in red, gold, and black on fol. 1a. With 19 miniatures illustrating various holy sites in Mecca and Medina.
Origin: Copy completed 11 Rabīʻ II 1265 H [6 March 1849] (fol. 64b).

Binding note
Full violet leather with gold-stamped fillets on covers and spine; yellow flyleaves and pastedowns.
