On front cover: Label reading "93 Tārīkh Qiṣṣah-i Bayd [?] va Sha[-]tar [?]" in Arabic script.
Ms. erroneously foliated beginning on the second folio. Record follows erroneous foliation.
Physical description: Main text written in nastaʻliq on a diagonal in black on tan unglazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Fol. 89-94 are of different Arabic paper. Some paper repairs, insect damage, and staining; text largly unaffected. First and last folios partially pasted to covers. Fol. 84b, 85b-86a, 92b-93a blank.
Origin: Copy completed 1074 H [1663 or 4] (fol. 84a). The original translation was completed in 1073 H (Rieu, III, 1043).

Binding note
Full maroon leather over pasted boards with gold-stamped central mandorla and pendants and gold-tooled fillets; pink paper doublures.
