Summary note

On November 25, 1977 the exhibition "Museo Internacional de la Resistencia Salvador Allende" was inaugurated in Zaragoza, Spain in solidarity with the oppressed citizens of Chile by the military regime of Augusto Pinochet. The exhibition included the collaboration of avant-garde artists, intellectuals and union and political leaders from Latin America and Spain. Twenty of those artists were from Aragón. This book pays homage to their initiative of solidarity commitment. After the restoration of democracy in 1990 the exhibited collection became part of the permanent collection of the museum.
