• Physical description: 29 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords; Qurʼanic quotations vocalized and in large naskh. First three leaves detached. A few paper repairs, with some loss of text on fol. 1-2. Marginal damp staining and insect damage.
• Origin: Copy completed by Muḥammad Afḍal ibn ʻAbd al-Saʻīd al-Qūdjānī on Monday, 30 Ramaḍān 1068 H [1 July 1658] (fol. 440a).
• Incipit: ابى بن کعب رواىتست که رسول خدا صلى الله علىه وآله فرمود که هر که سورۀ مرىم بخواند حق تعالى اورا ده حسنه بدهد

Binding note

Full brown leather with blind-stamped central mandorla and pendants. Front cover detached; back cover appears to have been cobbled together from smaller covers. Marbled paper pastedowns on front cover; pages from printed book pasted on inner back cover.
