520 8 First solo exhibition in Latin America and has been designed as a large-scale installation of site-specific MUAC. The show also includes an account of the explosive events characteristic of his work since 1990, presented as a sequence of large-scale projections. The exhibition presents a highly theatrical and scenic landscape consciously artificial. It is an interpretation of Mexico that refer to its founding myths, as well as the geological conditions that allowed the city of Mexico to settle in their current location. Cai has built a landscape of volcanic rock with a "lake" of mezcal in the center. This is Lake Texcoco, also fills the exhibition space with the aroma reminiscent of alcohol and creates a highly sensory environment. For the artist alcohol is both the agent of coexistence, community and hospitality as well as the bearer of solitude. Around the lake displays a sequence of fourteen gunpowder drawings that represent elements of the Mexican landscape and flora and fauna, different cultures and an immense local black sun.
