Physical description: Varying lines per page; written in miniscule nastaʻliq in black on wove paper, some dyed pale blue. Arabic prayers in naskh and vocalized. Persian text overlined in red and headings in red; interlinear Persian translation of Arabic prayers in red. Catchwords; extensive marginal notes. Inserts between fol. 64-65, 103-104, 110-111, 113-114, 121-122, 124-125, 174-175. Fol. 175b partially erased. Fol. 254b, 260b, 276a-279b blank.Paper worn away in outer margin due to water damage, with some loss of notes; light smudging. Some gatherings are loose. Possibly a holograph.
Origin: According to notes on fol. 291b, copy was completed (taḥrīr) on 29 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1367 H. [i.e. 1267 H.] [25 September 1851] in Tehran. The text was subsequently edited (ḥurrira) on a Friday night at the end of Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1284 H. [23 April 1868].
