• Title from fol. 1b.
• Physical description: 11-13 lines per page; written in naskh in black on glazed, laid European paper in a variety of colors (ochre, pink, yellow, white). Small illuminated ʻunwān in blue and gold on fol. 1b; text framed in gold on fol. 1b-2a. Remainder of text framed in double red lines; headings (wa-la-hu) in gold. Catchwords. First leaf repaired and pasted to front fly leaf; a few other leaves repaired in outer margin. Slight damp staining in margins.

Binding note

Full brown leather with flap. Gold-stamped tughra of Sultan Abdülaziz (r. 1861-1876) in center of cover, surrounded by gold-stamped corner designs and fillets; same gold-stamped fillets on flap. Yellow pastedowns and flyleaves.
