"A small town along the Han River in Kyunggi Province. Mi-ja lives alone with her grandson who is a middle school student in an rundown low-rent apartment. She is an unusual character who likes to decorate hats with flowers and dress up in colorful clothes. One day, Mi-ja happens to take up a 'poetry' course in a neighborhood cultural center and writes a poem for the first time in her entire life. Everything that she had known all this time suddenly look new and make her tremble like a little girl.
