    A biography of prominent Shiʻites from the rise of Islam to the beginning of the Safavid dynasty. Text begins on fol. 9b and is preceded by a table of contents on fol. 2b-8a.

    • On front cover: Label reading "61" in Arabic script.
    • On spine: Label reading "Majālis al-muʼminīn taʼlīf Mawlānā Qāḍī Nūr Allāh Shūshtarī" in Arabic script.
    • Physical description: 22-23 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on wove paper. Rubrication and catchwords; some marginal corrections. Extensive repairs to first eight leaves. Some foxing, smudging, and damp staining; otherwise in good condition.
    • Decoration: Illuminated ʻunwān on fol. 9b in gold, blue, red, and green in a delicate floral pattern. Gold box left for title but not filled in. Remainder of text and table of contents are framed in gold and black; frames are empty on fol. 8b-9a.
