  • On front cover: Label reading "147" in Arabic script.
  • Physical description: 17 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords; some marginal notes. Charts in red and black; raml illustrations in black. Foliated in Arabic script 1-47, (leaf skipped), 48-51 on upper right corner of verso. Abjad notation in upper left corner of recto on most leaves. Numerous paper repairs; first and last leaves pasted to modern paper. Some staining and edges dog-eared. Fol. 5-48 detached.
  • Origin: Text 1 dated Jumādá II 1004 H. [February 1596] (fol. 30b). Text 2 dated 6 Rajab 10114 H. [sic]; text is written by the same hand on the same paper and may have actually been copied shortly after text 1.
  • Incipit (text 1): و بعد چنىن گوىد بنده پر عتاب سرخاب که مدت جهل سال پروى علم رمل کردم
  • Incipit (text 2): اى فرزند بدان ايدک الله و ايانا که در براهىن علم طبىعى مبرهن و ثابتست
