Second volume of a treatise on Islamic morality and ethics, consisting of a muqaddimah and three bāb; on the three prohibited categories: al-munkar, al-faḥshāʾ, and al-baghy. First leaf is missing.

On front cover: Label reading "287" in Arabic script.
Physical description: 20 lines per page; written in naskh in black on glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication and catchwords; a few marginal notes. Text framed in blue and red with outer marginal red line on fol. 1a-5a; text framed in double blue lines on fol. 5b. Missing first leaf. Light staining and smudging; a few leaves loose.
Origin: Text completed at the beginning of Rabīʻ I 1232 H. [January 1817]; this copy completed by Muḥammad Riz̤ā ibn al-Ḥājj Muḥammad Taqī al-Tustarī on 2 Rabīʻ I 1232 H. [20 January 1817] (fol. 243b).
Binding note
Full reddish-brown leather with blind-stamped central mandorla, pendants, corner designs, and fillets. Spine repaired.
