Summary note

A Persian translation of Bahāʾ al-Dīn al-ʻĀmilī's Miftāḥ al-falāḥ, a text explaining daily Shiʻite religious practices. Translator's introduction is on fol. 1b-3a. Incomplete at end; text breaks off in the middle of bāb 3.

• Physical description: 18 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Arabic prayers written in naskh and vocalized, and accompanied by interlinear Persian translation in red. Damp staining in margins. Spine missing; both covers, each with flyleaf and one folio, are detached.
