Summary note
Prostye li︠u︡di: Melodramatic story of a couple, the plant director and his wife, separated by the war and the evacuation of an aviation plant. Workers of the plant are transported from Leningrad to an aviation plant in Uzbekistan.
Doroga k zvezdam: It's 1941. Mitya Eliseev voluntarily decides to join the air force and become a pilot. His father, Air Force Colonel Elisha (Alexander Khvylya), tells Mitya that he's unsuitable for this challenging profession. But Mitya attends flight school and becomes one of the best students. Soon Mitya is sent on a mission to discover a German airfield. He discovers the airfield, however must make an emergency landing. Back in the air, he comes upon his nemisis, but all ends well for Mitya.
