    • Illustrations: Half-page, hand-colored illustrations on each page, with two smaller illustrations above and below, most remaining uncolored, in a design incorporating printed verse text around illustrations.
    Binding note
    • Publisher's pale yellow wrappers, pictorial upper colored in red, lower with publisher's advertisements headed: "Dean's Sixpenny Colored Toy Books."
    • Cotsen copy: Expert spine replacement, using spine of another copy, matching up text and illustrations, this piece with printed "26" in ipper corner.
