Back endpaper detached and partially torn away. Some dampstaining and extensive paper repairs, mainly marginal.

According to Āghā Buzurg (Dharīʻah, 1936, XXI, 355), while the text is attributed to Muḥammad Jaʻfar ibn Muḥammad Taqī al-Majlisī, Muḥammad Taqī al-Majlisī is not known to have had a son by that name. He also states that the text was written for Shāh Sulaymān I (d. 1694). Text is also known as Miftāḥ al-jinān.
