• Physical description: 12 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on blue glazed, laid European paper. Fol. 2-8 written by a different hand on modern blue European paper as replacements for the originals. Arabic quotations written in naskh.Text framed in red and blue lines. Rubrication and catchwords; a few marginal notes. Damp staining towards end of text block resulting in partial to total loss of blue tint. Otherwise in good condition.
• Origin: Copy completed 29 Rajab 1224 H. [9 September 1809] (fol. 446a).

Binding note

Full black leather with stamped central mandorla, pendants, and fillets. Spine and corners repaired.
