Ms. is erroneously foliated 1-31 beginning on fol. 2. Record follows erroneous numbering.
Physical description: 15 lines per page; written in small, neat nastaʻliq in black on modern paper in a variety of colors. Headings in red; catchwords. Columns bordered by gold; text bordered by thick gold and thin blued lines. Outer red marginal border. In excellent condition.
Origin: Selections chosen by Sayyid ʻAbd al-Sattār Khvājah ibn Sayyid Aḥmad Khvājah, naqīb-i Kishvar-i Tārān, at the time of the accession of Abdülmecid I [1839] at the Takīyah-i Islāmbūl. Copied by Muḥammad Fikrī al-Gulpāygānī of Baghdād at the residence of ʻAlī-Riz̤ā Pāshā (fol. 31a).
Binding note
Half-bound in brown leather with paper sides which are decorated with a maroon, yellow ochre, black, white, and gold floral pattern, surrounded by a black and gold frame.
