This collection contains dozens of documents that offer an insight on the workings of the Consejo de Estado (Council of State), legislative body which functioned during the military government that ruled Uruguay between 1973 and 1985. The documentation was originally gathered by a member of the Consejo who participated in several of its conclaves.
