Provenance
On the verso of front endpaper and first two interleaves are blue labels describing the text which follows. A later hand, that of "REB," has noted on each label: "Autograph of Professor 'Rieu' British Museum." Also on the verso of the front endpaper is the following statement: "Presented to Samuel Bochart the Celebrated Traveller and Linguist 22nd July MDCXLVIII (1648) by Ce Sarravius." However, all four fragments and the binding appear more recent than this date.
