Script: Textura.
Layout: Antiphonary section ruled for 55 lines, written in a single column generally composed of 11 lines of musical notation underlaid with text.
Decoration: Rubrics in red. 1 large zoomorphic initial A(spiciens) (134 x 123 mm) on fol. 4v, executed in red, yellow, blue, and green; smaller decorated initials with vegetal motifs and simple 1-line penwork initials alternating red and blue are found throughout the manuscript.
Binding: reddish brown leather over pasteboard with arms of the Basilica of St. Peter on upper and lower covers.
Music: contains single-staff plainchant notation.
Origin: Written and illuminated in central Italy, ca. 1175-1225.
