    • The text of the ijāzah has been transcribed by a professional calligraphist while only the colophon is from the hand of the author.
    • Collation: Paper ; fol. iii + 15 + i ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
    • Layout: 15 lines per page ; frame-ruled in gold and black.
    • Description: Lightly tinted and streaked tan paper ; MS in excellent condition.
    • Decoration: Illuminated headpiece in gold, blue, green, orange, violet, red and yellow (folio opposite folio 1a). Text decorated with gold dots. Final page decorated with gold vine and dot design framing the author's seal impression.
    • Origin: According to colophon copied 17 Jumādá al-Ūlá 1287 (fol. 14a).
