  • Layout: 23 lines per page.
  • Description: Overlining in red ; MS in fair condition.
  • Origin: Probably from XVIIth century.

Binding note
Later type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Cross-hatched blind-tooling across the covers. Blind-stamped design with blind-tooled edging on flap. Spine and flap connectors both repaired. Flap is not original to covers.

  • 1. fol. 1a-10a: Laṭāyif al-minnah fī muntazahāt al-jannah / taʼlīf Muḥammad ibn Ṭūlūn. A treatise describing the beauties of the world to come based on the Koran and tradition. On folio 1a it is stated that this is an autograph copy. Evidently some folios are missing.
  • 2. fol. 11a-:17a: [Fragment of a collection of traditions]. The name of al-Ṭabarānī [?]appears on the first folio.
  • 3. fol. 19a-107b: [Detailed treatise on grammar]. Incomplete at the beginning and the end.
