• Collation: Paper ; fol. viii + 205 + ii ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
• Layout: 21-25 lines per page ; frame-rule in red.
• Description: Rubricated ; some vowel signs ; watermarks (crown with cartouche; grapes; horn; other unidentified) ; MS in good condition.
• Decoration: Simple illuminated headpiece in gold (fol. 1b and 47b). Illumination across a double-page spread of Muḥammad's mausoleum with inner and outer frame of gold (fol. 5b-6a). A few opening spreads are frame-ruled in gold (fol. 1b-2a; 47b-48a; 88b-89a).

Binding note

Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with gold painted frame and gold-tooled decorative edging on covers. Similar decoration on envelope flap. Endbands. Both covers are detached.
