A few marginal and interlinear notes and glosses. In the first twenty folios the entries are in red.
Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 450 ; folios 1-17 signed, remainder unsigned ; catchwords ; partial foliation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 25 lines per page ; ruled.
Description: Partially rubricated ; watermarks (shield with a face-in-the-moon, roman alphabet letters "AG") ; MS in good condition.
Origin: According to colophon copy completed Saturday 12 Rajab 1281 in Makkah by Aḥmad ibn Nāfiʻ (fol. 449a).

Binding note
Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and blind-stamped elaborate frame on covers. Similar decoration on flap, flap connector, and spine. Cover fully lined with yellow paper with a block-pressed design in purple and black. Quires Not sewn; remanants of 2 fabric strips holdings quires together.
