Marginal notes and glosses. Inscriptions and a listing of contents, not all present in current MS (fol. 1a-2a). On the eight folios after the colophon are: A dogmatical treatise by Muẓaffar ibn Aḥmad ibn Abī Saʻīd (fol. 71a-75b), and a traditional treatise on the excellences of the first four Companions of the Prophet (fol. 75b-78b).
Collation: Paper ; fol. 79 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 19 lines per page ; ruled.
Description: Text in red and commentary in black ; watermarks (anchor) ; MS in good condition.
Origin: According to colophon copy completed Wednesday in the first part of Jumādá al-Ākhir 1012 by Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Sayf ibn Muḥammad al-Dayrī al-Shāfiʻī al-Kawkabī (fol. 70b).

Type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and blind-tooled edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap.
