    A commentary on Shihāb al-akhbār fī al-ḥikam wa-al-amthāl wa-al-ādāb min al-aḥādīth al-nabawīyah, a compendium of wisdom sayings and sermonettes selected from traditions by Abū ʻAbd Allāh Muḥammad al-Quḍāʻī. The ground work is also known as Jawāhir al-kalim al-sunnīyah wa-badāʼiʻ al-ḥikam al-nabawīyah.

    • A few marginal notes and glosses. Colophon followed by a badly faded inscription. Upper cover has markings including a star with "Allāh" written in the middle.

    • Layout: 16 lines per page.
    • Description: Vowel signs ; MS in good condition, mended. First folio is defective.
    • Origin: According to colophon copied Sunday 5 Rabīʻ al-Akhirah 708 (fol. 68b).

    Later half-bound type III (without flap) binding in red leather and paper. Multi-colored endbands. Possibly a type II binding with missing flap.
