A few marginal notes; marginal summaries. Title page is covered with notes. On folios following the colophon is an ijāzah signed and stamped with the seal of ʻUmar ibn ʻAbd al-Karīm ʻAbd al-Rasūl al-Makkī al-Ḥanafī dated Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1241.
Collation: Paper ; fol. ii + 53 + v ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 25 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red.
Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (text: three crescents; endpapers only: shield with a face-in-the-moon) ; MS in good condition.
Origin: According to colophon copied Tuesday 6 Shawwāl 1227 by ʻAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad al-Sabʻī (fol. 53b).
Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وبه ثقتي احمدك اللهم ان حفظت هذه الشريعة الغراء الواضحة البيضا بافراد في كل عصر ... اما بعد فهذه صبابة جمعت من فن علم الحديث ومتعلقاته ...
Colophon: وافق تمامه ضحى يوم الثلوت [الثلاثاء] لعله السادس من شهرشوال سنة 1227 من الهجرة النبوية على مشرفها افضل الصلاة وازکا [ازکى] التسليم بقلم احقر العباد عبد الله بن محمد السبعي غفر الله له ولوالديه وکافة المسلمين وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد واله وصحبه وسلم امين
