A work on the various readings of the Koran according to al-Kisāʼī as related by his two narrators Abū al-Ḥārith and Ḥafṣ al-Dawrī. Autograph copy.

Extensive marginal notes and glosses. Note on title page that the MS was written by the author in 1286. Fāʼidah on fol. 32b for treating hemorrhoids.
Collation: Paper ; fol. 32 ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 21 lines per page ; ruled.
Description: Rubricated ; some vowel signs ; watermarks (shield with a face-in-the-moon, roman-alphabet letters "Pordenone[?]") ; MS in good condition.
Origin: According to colophon copied Thursday 3 Muḥarram 1286 by the author (fol. 31a).
Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وبه ثقتي حمدا لمن جعل القرآن لقارئيه قايدا الى الجنة ...
Colophon: وکان الفراغ من جمع هذه الرسالة على يد جامعها الفقير الى مولاه الخالق محمد بن سلامة بن عبدالخالق الرشيدي بلدة الشافعي مذهبا في يوم الخميس المبارك الموافق لثلاثة ايام خلت من شهر محرم الحرام افتتاح سنة ستة وثمانين بعد الالف والمائتين من هجرة من له المجد والشرف صلى الله عليه وسلم والحمد لله على المبدي [المبدأ] والختام وأسأله حسن الختام والحمد لله على کل حال وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم. امين
