  • Collation: Paper ; fol. iv + 358 + iv ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
  • Layout: 15 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red and gold.
  • Description: Rubricated ; vowel signs ; watermarks (lion in a circle topped by a crown with lettering "concordia res paruae crescunt"; roman-alphabet letters "VdL" ) ; MS in very good condition.
  • Decoration: Opening, middle and closing spreads written within wide borders elaborately decorated with yellow, red and black (fol. 1b-2a, 174b-174a, and 357b-358a).). Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ written in tapered colophon shape and framed below with simlar elaborate decoration (fol. 357a). Verses separated by yellow or red circles.
  • Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Gold-stamped mandorla with pendants and cornerpieces and gold-tooled decorative edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap and flap fore-edge. Red floral cloth pastedowns and flyleaf. Multi-colored endbands.
  • Origin: Probably from the early part of the XIXth century.
