A complete Koran in the form of a decorative scroll, accompanied by an ivory case; likely used as an amulet.

• Title from header.
• Physical description: Written in miniscule naskh in black and red inks on beige glazed, laid Arabic paper backed by white linen. Borders and decorative lines in gold. Text written within the outlines of the basmalah and other well-known Muslim formulae. In excellent condition.
• Accompanying materials: Scroll is wrapped around a wooden rod (88 x 12 mm.) and was originally stored in a cylindrical ivory case (94 x 45 mm.).
