  • Fols. 381; 34 x 29 cm.; written surface 20.5 x 20 cm.; 3 lines to page; on glazed Arabic paper; in early naskhi and thuluth; with vowel signs.
  • A fragmentary copy of the Koran in two volumes with interlinear translations in Persian and Chagatai (Eastern Turkish). It contains parts of the following sections (Juzʼ): 4, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 28.
  • Medallions in gold and color in margins to mark divisions. Verses are separated with gilt asterisks. Many of the folios are misplaced. The folios have been mounted on strong European paper by the dealer and bound in an elaborate European leather binding; gilt stamped and gilt edges. MS in fair condition; probably from the XVth century.
  • Acquired from London, 1905.
