The author composed the MS for al-Mufaḍḍal ibn Abī al-Barakāt, fl. ca. 484 [1091], the minister of Sayyidah ḥurrah, 532 [1137], who played the dominant role in Ṣanʻāʼ after the death of the Ṣulayḥid al-Mukarram Aḥmad 473-484 [1080-1091].
Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 54 + i ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 21 lines per page.
Description: Rubricated ; overlining in red ; vowel signs ; MS in good condition, some staining. MS is probably from the sixteenth century; extremely rare.

Binding note
Later? type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Gold- and blind-tooled geometric design covering entirety of covers. Gold-speckled blue paper pastedowns and gold-speckled flyleaves. Multi-colored endbands.
