    Autograph copy of a biographical dictionary of Muslim saints and their virtues, arranged in alphabetical order of their names. Followed by a biographical dictionary of the lives of 36 eminent Ṣūfīs who lived in the 11th century Hijri arranged according to the alphabetical order of their names.

    • Marginal notes and glosses. Title page of Tuḥfat al-aṣfiyāʼ has a statement that the MS is in the author's hand, obscured ownership statements, and other additions. Table of contents runs from the title page to fol. 3a. Preceding the start of the second text (fol. 56b-57a) is a table of contents and three additional names taken from the Ṭabaqāt of al-Shurnūbị, 931-994 [1524/5-1585/6]. Fol. 68a carries several inscriptions. Insert describes MS.
    • 1. fol. 1a-56a: Tuḥfat al-aṣfiyāʼ bi-manāqib al-awliyāʼ / ʻAbd al-Raʼūf ibn al-Munāwī al-Ḥaddādī.
    • 2. fol. 56b-67a: Ṭabaqah fī tarājim al-sādah al-Ṣūfīyah al-mawjūdīn fī al-qarn al-ḥādī ʻashar.
    • Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 68 + i ; catchwords ; foliation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.

    • Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (roman-alphabet letters "RA", circular design) ; MS in good condition.
    • Decoration: Illuminated headpiece in gold, blue and red (fol. 3b). Fol. 3b and 4a have gilt frame. Gilt design on edges of text block.
    • Origin: [Tuḥfat al-aṣfiyāʼ] Copied in the middle of the third month [Rabīʻ I] of 1024 (fol. 56a) -- [Ṭabaqah fī tarājim] Copied end of Rabīʻ I 1025 (fol. 67a).
