Index of all the names mentioned in the text (fol. i b-xviii b). After the colophon is what is evidently the colophon of the copy from which MS was made. It is dated 871 [1466] and was transcribed by Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Sibṭ al-Nuwayrī. The author is dependent on Quṭb al-Dīn al-Ḥalabī, 735 [1334/5] and al-Bukhārī 194-256 [810-870].
Collation: Paper ; fol. i + xviii + 206 + i ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 27 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red.
Description: Rubricated ; some vowel signs ; watermarks (shield with a face-in-the-moon, roman-alphabet letters "AG") ; MS in excellent condition.
Origin: According to colophon copy completed Wednesday 8 Shaʻbān 1274 by Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Jazāyirī (fol. 206b).

Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and wide blind-tooled frame on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Multi-colored endbands.
