A few marginal notes. The text of the poem is in red in the margin. On title page is an owner's signature and a note that the author was known as Ustādh [teacher] of Rāghib Pāshā, a vizier of Sultan Muṣṭafá, 1553, son of Sultan Sulaymān I, who reigned 1520-1566.
Collation: Paper ; fol. 164 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 23 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red.
Description: Rubricated ; MS in excellent condition.
Decoration: Gilt-illuminated headpiece. Fols. 1b and 2a frame-ruled in gold.
Origin: According to colophon copied 18 Shawwāl 1217 by ʻUrbakīrī Yaḥyá Afandīʹzādah Ayyūb Ṣābir (fol. 164a).
Incipit: بسم الله ... نحمدك اللهم على ما اوليت من فضائل النعم

Binding note
Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Gold-tooled decorative edging on covers and flap. Blue paper pastedowns and gold-sprinkled green flyleaves. Endbands.
