The author's commentary on Fatḥ al-qarīb al-mujīb fī naẓm Khaṣāʼiṣ al-ḥabīb.
Notes
Collation: Paper ; fol. (4) + 103 + (4) ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Description: Text in red and commentary in black ; vowel signs ; watermarks (text has three crescents, later flyleaves have shield with face-in-the-moon and roman-alphabet letters "AG") ; MS in fair condition.
Layout: 27-37 lines per page.
Marginal notes. Title page carries an obliterated inscription that it was composed in 1032 [1622/2]. After the colophon is a statement that the copy from which the present MS was made is full of flaws and mistakes. On the page after the colophon is a quotation from the Dalāʼil al-minhāj of al-Ḥalabī.

Later type II (with flap) binding in floral striped fabric. Under the fabric is red leather and cream paper.

Title page carries two ownership signatures, one partially obliterated, and the other for Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Saqqāf. Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900.
