    Vols. I and II of al-Iktifāʼ fī Maghāzī Rasūl Allāh, being a history of the conquests of the Prophet and the first three caliphs, beginning with the genealogy of the Prophet and closing with the departure of ʻAbd Allāh ibn Ḥudhāfah with a letter from the Prophet to Kisrá [Khusraw Parwīz] [590-628].

    • Collation: Paper ; fol. 213 + (1), 216 + (1) ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
    • Decoration: Elaborate illuminated headpiece with vignette in red, gold and blue in both volumes. Headpiece in volume 1 carries the author's name, in vol. 2 "ghazwat Badr al-kubrá". Illuminated colophons in both volumes with vignettes in red, gold and blue. In both volumes, opening folios and colophons frame-ruled in gold and blue.
    • Description: Rubricated ; watermarks ; MS in good condition but some folios are worm-eaten and there is some staining. MS is rare.
    • Layout: 20 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red and blue.
