Title from preliminary folio in later hand (fol. [i]a).
Marginal and interlinear notes and glosses. Later inscription captioned "Min kalām Shaykhinā al-Sayyid Muṣṭafá al-Bakrī al-Ḥusaynī" on fol. 1a. Immediately after the colophon and on the following page and folio is a short treatise on the good qualities of the Prophet by Muṣṭafá Afandī dated Jumādá al-Ūlá 1181 [1767].
Collation: Paper ; fol. ii + 79 + i ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 13 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red.
Description: Rubricated ; some vowel signs ; watermarks (roman-alphabet lettering) ; MS in good condition.
Origin: According to colophon copied 1180 (fol. 77a).
Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله وسلام على عباده الذين اصطفى قال الشيخ الحافظ ابو عيسى محمد بن عيسى بن سودة الترمذى

Binding note
Contemporaneous type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Gold-stamped mandorla and blind-tooled edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Green paper pastedowns. Endbands.
