A redaction of the work al-Awāʼil by Abū Hilāl Ḥasan ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-ʻAskarī, A.H. 382 [A.D. 992/3], which is a book about origins and beginnings of, and pioneers in, every phase of life, whether physical, religious, moral or social.

• Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (three crescents) ; MS in good condition but several folios are worm-eaten and mended, a little stained with dampness.
• Layout: 23 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red.
• Marginal notes. Title page has a statement that there are 57 folios.
