Summary note
A gloss on al-Muṭawwal of Masʻūd ibn ʻUmar al-Taftāzānī, which is a commentary on Talkhīṣ al-Miftāḥ by Jalāl al-Dīn al-Qazwīnī, which in turn is an abridgment of Miftāḥ al-ʻUlūm, the famous treatise on rhetoric by al-Sakkākī.

Binding note
Later type III (without flap) binding. Brown leather upper cover covered with paper with cutout showing red leather blind-stamped mandorla. Spine half red leather and half dark brown leather. Lower cover red leather with small blind-stamped mandorla and decorative blind-tooled edging.
