• A few marginal notes. Title page has 4 lines of poetry, calculations on lower pastedown.
• Collation: Paper ; fol. 49 ; catchwords ; quires signed 11-14 ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
• Layout: 25 lines per page ; ruled.
• Description: Text in red and commentary in black ; watermarks (three crescents) ; MS in good condition but a few folios are mended.
• Origin: According to colophon copied Friday 17 Rajab 1172 by Muḥammad ibn Khuḍarī al-Ḥimṣī (fol. 49a).
• Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله على جميع الاحوال
• Colophon: وکان الفراغ من کتابة هذه المقدمة بعد صلاة الجمعة في اليوم السابع عشر خلا من رجب الفرد الحرام المبارك سنة 1172 اثنين وسبعين وماية والف احسن الله ختامها بالخير. امين
